MID has grown to become one of the most respected installation firms in the Chicagoland area. With a hand picked crew of professional installers, our reputation for quality and efficiency is second to none. All of our project managers have a minimum of 10 years experience managing projects of all sizes. The same attention to detail is meticulously maintained on every project, be it 2 or 2000 workstations.
MID offers full service receiving, storage and redelivery for any size project, as well as moving services, long term storage and inventory management.

Vince Santoro – President - email Vince
Using the knowledge of over 20 years of experience in office furniture installation makes Vince proficient in coordinating each project. Beginning with a site inspection of a proposed project to a walk through upon completion, Vince oversees and coordinates each project.
Rob Benson – Vice President - email Rob
With over 24 years of office furniture experience Rob manages the day by day operations of MID. Daily contact with clients, vendors and the sales team keeps Rob in touch with every angle of a project.
Both Vince and Rob are involved in every aspect of each project provided by Modular Installations and Design Inc.
Steve Appelbaum – Relocation Services - email Steve
Experienced in the moving and storage industry for over 28 years. Steve previously was the owner and operator of a transportation company, moving office furnishings and high end value merchandise. With his past experience as a general manager for a major moving company Steve’s knowledge of making a move locally as well as across the country plays an important role in our business. Projects include the merger of Amoco and BP Oil (200 trailers) also relocating four Lucent locations to one facility (500 employees) to name a few.
Tony Pietro – Sales and Business Development - email Tony
A veteran of the office furniture industry, Tony has over 25 years of experience, and has worked in almost every aspect of the business. Tony has worked on the dealership level as a salesman, sales manager and operations manager and has also worked as a manufacturing representative for systems furniture and wood case goods.
John Holt – Sales and Project Management– email John
With over 25 years of experience, John is a specialist in the office furniture industry. As a technical representative for an office furniture manufacturer, director of operations for a dealership and many years in the installation field as an installer, foreman, project manager and account manager. John’s industry knowledge and attitude are the best tools for his number one goal of customer satisfaction.
Mary Porcaro – Customer Liaison – email Mary
Maintains inventory and communicates receiving and quality information concerning product delivered to our warehouse. Mary’s daily contact with the sales team and support personnel keeps everyone informed on the progress of their orders.
Tom Domagala – Office Manager – email Tom
Schedules all projects with our dealers, clients and building management. Tom is also responsible for appointing a crew for each project as well as coordination of delivery fleet.
